WEEK 17 & 18

Baby's now the size of a sweet potato!
Baby's become amazingly mobile, passing the hours yawning, hiccuping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking, and swallowing.
Head to rump, the baby is approximately 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and weighs almost 7 ounces. She's busy flexing her arms and legs.


My Dad, Marie, and Aaron came to ABQ to visit us this weekend. Pictures above are from them visiting us.

We had Lisa Kimbrell's baby shower yesterday. It was so fun and such a Blessing! Over 130 people attended & Little Baby Kimbrell was Blessed with so many presents. Can't wait to see all the photos from the baby shower! We danced the night away at the Kimbrell's after the baby shower. Baby Rosser loves music she was dancing all over my tummy last night.

Baby Rosser-Pawpaw is so excited to meet you. We have had a great time building & planning your bed.

Amazing Blessing yesterday-Jim & Judy Purcell are building us a beautiful cradle for when the baby comes home. He has made one for each of his grandchildren and wanted to give us one as well. They are beautiful! What a Blessing, Thank you Lord. How special our Baby will have furniture that is so sentimental all the way around.

I can't wait till the next ultrasound! Baby is all on the right side so my right side hurts a little. I haven't gained a lot of weight but my belly is started to really stick out.

Everything is great and we are so Blessed!

I am super excited that I bought some of the wood for the baby crib this afternoon. It is a hardwood named soft maple. It has a nice grain pattern and will mill and stain beautifully. I am enclosing a few pictures of one of the pieces. The piece I am holding is almost 2" thick, 9 inches wide and 9 feet long. It will become the four corner pieces of the crib and a few other pieces as well. I hope you like it. I also enclosed a couple of pictures of the workbench I am building to do the router work and sanding on the crib.

16 WEEKS!

The baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord —her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. The baby weighs 5 ounces now and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. Baby's now the size of an onion! Also, the lttle finger and toes now have finger prints of their own! The baby is more flexible with ability to move head, mouth, lips, arms, wrists, hands, legs, feet, and toes.

I feel the baby moving a lot more this week!

My dad bought the wood and has started the side panels for the baby bed! I'm so excited he is building the baby bed!

We can hardly wait till April 13th, the next ultrasound!

Baby's Heart Beat March 9, 2010

You can hear the baby's heart beat in the video. She was a wiggle worm so it took a few moments to find the heart beat. The actual heart beats starts at :38 seconds! Enjoy a precious sound!

My Sweet Sister-In-Laws

I have a family full of boys so God brought me wonderful sister's through marriage! Thank you Lord for all my sister-in-laws.

Jenny-my sister-in-law in Keller that sends me wonderful baby advice! I'm so Blessed to have her, she has 2 little ones so knows what is going on in the baby world!

I made my notes in red on your list. I have my shopping list somewhere...when I was pregnant with Seth I took all the baby registry suggestion lists I had from magazines and books and made a composite list. Someone asked for it and I made my notes on it for them. I'll find it and get it to you. Remind me, though, if I haven't sent it to you soon!

Doctor's appt 15 weeks 4 days

We went to our appt today.

Baby & I are perfectly healthy!

We heard the good strong heart beat. Brian video taped the heart beat.

My next doctor appt is April 5th. Our ultrasound is April 13th. I will be 20 weeks & we will know the gender on the 13th of April.

We are looking into the 3D & 4D ultrasounds so we will keep you posted!

Brian took photo of me & baby outside of hospital this morning. 15 weeks & 4 days!

Week 15

The growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple or orange). She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam.

We went to a wonderful Danny & Sherry Silk conference at our church this weekend.

We felt the baby move for the 1st time while laying in bed on Saturday, March 6th, 2010. We felt the apple or orange and I felt her move up and down.

March 7th-This morning at church the baby was dancing all over the place to the Praise & Worship music.

Apparently she loves the Praise & Worship music. It felt like she was doing the electric slide in my tummy.

This morning we felt her again laying bed-amazing feeling
