Ultrasound 04.13.10 It's a GIRL!!!

BABY ROSSER IS A GIRL!!! Myleigh Michelle Rosser (our little M&M) is due August 28th, 2010. She is 12 ounces today & perfect. Her heart beat is 159 beats per minute which is normal.

Apparently, she likes to play hide and seek!
They couldn't see her whole head as she was hiding.

We did see her face which is precious. I go back on May 13th so they can measure her head. Great just means more pictures.

Just thinking of the ORANGE SLICES BRINGS BACK GREAT memories of eating them with you. It also almost puts me in a diabetic coma just thinking of all that sugar. I saw some in the store the other day and had to fight the temptation to buy some. You and the baby enjoy my share. I am sure Patsy might like one too. But now the watermelon sounds like a great idea. Hope you are doing well.

Aaron took a picture of me making the first lumber cut for the baby bed. I am making the rough cut for the bottom rail of the headboard. I hope you are doing well today. I looked at a sweet potatoe at the store last night and it is amazing how big your baby is getting.

20 WEEKS!

Baby's now the size of a cantaloupe!
Baby gulps down several ounces of amniotic fluid every day, both for nutrition and to practice swallowing and digesting. And, these days, those taste buds actually work! Studies show that after birth, babies respond best to tastes they've already had via amniotic fluid.

Baby Rosser went to their 1st Pre-Paid Legal Convention in OKC over the weekend-see photo!

Baby ate at Daddy's favorite restaurant Abuelo's in OKC! Daddy and Baby like Abuelo's!

Had a wonderful trip!

WEEK 19

The baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces, and measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of a large heirloom tomato. The hair on her scalp is sprouting. This is a crucial time for sensory development: the baby's brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Baby's now the size of a mango!
Vernix caseosa, a greasy white substance made of lanugo, oil, and dead skin cells (yum) now coats baby's skin, shielding it from the amniotic fluid.

It's been a great week. Look forward to Easter tomorrow and our doctor's appt on Mon.
