Today we had our 1st doctor's appt at Lovelace Woman's Hospital at 9:30 AM. We're 8 weeks and 3 days!
Katherine Maxwell is our midwife and she is awesome. We both really liked her. She answered a bunch of questions for us.
She is a very natural midwife so we really like that about her.
We had our 1st ultrasound and saw and heard the babies heartbeat! That was very emotional and special for us. The baby is about 1.07 cm & due August 28, 2010!
The midwife said my thyroid isn't an issue as she will monitor closely and adjust as needed.
We have a glucose test on Friday just because of the strong diabetes that runs in my family and another ultrasound to see baby again!! Very excited for Fri!
